At BEST we know every parent wants to help their child to perform well, enjoy school and succeed. However, we also know for many children, academic success does not always come easily, and this is where BEST can really help.
Everyone finds exams and tests stressful, and if your child could do with some extra support, our teachers have a proven track record of providing first class tuition in their subject specialism. Our teachers can help your child to achieve their true potential, which could mean moving up a set in school or achieving a grade higher than predicted at GCSE. All our teachers have an Enhanced DBS check, are registered with the Education Workforce Council and are up to date with Child Protection training.
Tuition 1-2-1 (Online or Face to Face)
We offer tuition both online and face to face (within your home). The world has changed due to COVID-19, and one of the positives is that the environment has become cleaner. We want to continue making a positive contribution to The Climate Change Act which commits the UK government by law to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to (net zero) by 2050. Our contribution is to reduce our Carbon Footprint by preventing the need to travel to pupil’s homes to deliver tuition. This is why we decided to offer tuition live online. However, if your child does not work well online and would prefer to have face to face tuition, we are more than happy to provide it and our teachers will travel to your home.
They will conduct an initial assessment to ascertain your child’s needs and whether it is homework support or additional subject support, our teachers will be able to help. All teachers are experienced at working with pupils with disabilities and those who have additional learning needs.
If necessary and with your permission, we are happy to liaise with school staff to ensure we are all working towards the same goals thus ensuring your child gets the most out of tuition. All our teachers are fully qualified and have recently worked in either primary or secondary schools.
